Jim from Scotland, just saying hello. Been into Solar Power for a few years now, both PV & Thermal, but now turning my attention to a wind/solar combination solution to combat the dreich Scottish winters and the abysmal solar output at such times.

Your not alone in your planning ! Solar only seems to be fully sufficient in a the desert with long daylight hours without a cloud in the sky.

Several of us are trying different wind turbines. I look forward to seeing you make a topic to show us your system !
