Hello,
A Lot of effort and a lot of different hardware to get these MorningStar controllers to play together nicely !
It has been a week, and I am slowly moving forward. All this time could have been better spent if the hardware did what it is advertised for the communication and networking ! I was hopeful to have so much more done this last week !!!!
MorningStar is heavy duty hardware for charging control, and dump load control, but networking is extremely out-dated. Time to join the modern age for MorningStar !

Hello,
It is time to clean up the current batteries and the madness of the old DC wiring, to then take the next step !
Question is... Lead Acid, or LifePO4 right now !!!!

looks like the LifePo4 would work better down there. no venting needed to get rid of the gasses.

Hello,
Hope Everyone had a Merry Christmas !
I have been getting a lot of the little things outstanding done, while planning for future items to be installed... Hot Water being one of them.
A bit of explanation of "Who" and "What" Tin Hau is that I am speaking of in the above video. This should give you a bit more of an idea of what I am speaking of.

Hello,
Time to make sure the Dump Load Controllers are working, and then program all to be a perfectly balanced system for charging and making hot water with my extra power !!!

Hello,
I have spent so much time on trying to get the TS-60 PWM dump load controllers to network the data via serial to RS-485.
This video is strictly about MorningStar Networking data to a computer !

Hello,
It has been a journey, and I think the networking of the Morningstar controllers has come to its end !!! Only use Morningstar kit for Morningstar controllers !!!!
A lesson well Learned !!!!!

Hey brother,
I bought the Morningstar RS-232 to RS-485 converters. The shipping cost more then 2 units. No other choice !
If the network monitoring does not do exactly what the documents say, I will be on the warpath !!!

Hello,
While I wait for the Morningstar networking hardware from the USA to arrive. I am installing all the DC and Inverter AC wires, but need to pre-plan for the top deck as well.
I feel Hydroponic Dutch Buckets would be great to assist in a self-sustainability on this vessel !

Hello,
A first hand look to removing the varnish off the wood post. Not that complicated, but it sure takes a lot of time !!!

looks good! I can see it does take time doing it that way, but it causes less damage to the wood. a little sanding after you scrap and your done.

Hey SD,
Now comes the messy part... Sanding
I would rather be installing power wires, or frustrated while working on networking issues, then sand any more HaHaHaHa

Hey SD,
You are correct... I need to get the vessel up in the slipway on land to do the hull, and anti foul her. Needs new anodes as well !
