Hello,
A few weeks before this fire. I was called over to another boat (made by the same shipyard), and almost identical in every way. They said their shore power was not working.
Below is what I found. I am 110% convinced that both boats had the same problem, and unfortunately one of them burned due to people taking short cuts, and not using proper electrical equipment and certified fuses and breakers. AC power is a dangerous thing when there is a demand for it, but only a focus on saving cash when installing it... you can see the price they pay in the end for saving a few dollars with cheap parts, and improper installations !
